Don’t ever trivialize someone’s striving to improve and repent. Don’t demonize a sinner for sinning. It may just be that their repentance is more loved by God than your empty principles. It may just be that your compassion encourages them to rise to productive heights while your arrogance disheartens them. Embrace good, wherever you see it, whoever it comes from.
